5.10 toasted!! would not load after a power fail

Oct 19 03 12:52 pm

had to uninstall and reinstall
now the $^&&*(*))( 5.07 won't let me log on to gate keeper
it keeps saying my password is wrong - NO IT ISN'T
I tried every account on the system
I tried telling it to use local login
I tried threatening to throw it across the room - it laughed
I need to know how to log into gatekeeper when it refuses to allow me to
what registry entry do I delete?

Please fix 5.10 so it does not refuse to laod after a power fail
power fails a lot round here
liuke once a week a red wood tree falls onto the lines somewhere and we loose power

PLEASE tell me how to get into gate keeper

okay - I found that if I don't put in a password
then gatekeepr just tells me there isn't one and would I like to continue anyway
and then askes me to create one

but this does not fix 5.10 blowing chunks after a power fail
it loads and does nothing
clicking on it loads another copy that does nothing
etc etc and so forth
gate keeper never ever appears (GUI dead) no load

5.07 is working again after an uninstall and re-install

Looks like history database failure, delete history and re start Wingate.
..\wingate\HISTORY.DBF
..\wingate\HISTORY.CDX
_nothing_else_ and re start Wingate.
