Enable\disable accounts

Postby Symantis » Aug 07 04 5:48 am

My problem is:
I use Wingate for sharing internet connection in our LAN. And I want to make small billing system on our inner web (statistics, payments and so on). Is there method to manage disabling\enabling accounts for users from outside GateKeeper? For instance, something telnet access, APIs, etc.
PS. Excuse me for my bad English.

Hi

yes, there is a telnet interface you can use for this.

In the Telnet proxy, there is a checkbox "Run as command shell".

If you enable this, you will be able to log in, and perform certain commands, including enabling and disabling user accounts.
