Route all traffic through an external anonymous proxy

Hi,

Is it possible to route all traffic on our LAN through an external anonymous proxy? If this was possible, would this mask our Ip address? I say this because many of the wingate client pcs use file sharing programs (not sharing content), and I'd feel a lot safer if our Ip address was masked.

Hi

Most proxies in WinGate allow you to pass through an upstream proxy.

However for some application, such as file sharing, unless they support SOCKS, or similar protocol, then I don't think they would work through a proxy (as opposed to network address translation) anyway.
