i need to setup a wireless showroom to provide customer with internet access. but i want them to be prompted with a user login and password when they try to connect to internet. solution should cater to both pc and mac based machines. currently i have a airport based station and a internet broadband connection.
will wingate able to provide user login function?
please advise

WinGate provides you with the user login through a variety of different schemes. These include the WinGate Internet Client (PC only), NTLM authentication, HTTP Basic authentication and Java Login.
As you're working in a mixed environment, Java Login might be the best solution for you. You can get WinGate on a 30 day trial, which gives you the opportunity to set it up, see if it will do what you want it to do before comitting to it.
