...because their server lied to us.

Hi all,
I'am italian (sorry for my english). On my events history of Wingare 6.0 i read '.....IP server.... reject because their server lied to us'.

I don't know what this message is. Can you explain me with others world?

I think the "...IP server..." can't send me e-mail, but i don't know why...

is this a antispam system?

thanks all

bye

Telextra,

The "server lied" is indeed part of an anti-spam effort.

If I remember correctly, the message indicates that the remote server trying to send email to you identified itself as your server.

If your server is mail.telextra.com and the sender said:

helo mail.telextra.com
or
ehol mail.telextra.com

it would be lying to you.

If I've only confused matters please post back and I'll try again.

Larry
