WGIC 5 on XP problems connecting to WG 4.5 server on NT 4

Hi,

I have some troubles with Windows XP Pro.

When I start de xp machine I see on gatekeeper guest while I am logged in as a user who has internet acces rights. When i manual disconnect the session, then the wgic reconnects with the right account.

The second thing that works is reset the wgic. But I can't tell all my users to reset the wgic everytime the want to use Internet.

Situation:


Server:

NT 4 with wingate 4.5
WRS, GDP, RCS and ENS enabled.
Users may be assumed.

Client:

WGIC 5 on Windows XP PRO SP1
I use wgic 5 because when I use 4.5 some of the services from xp make big troubles.

you could try blocking guest access to the WRP service

That should force the clients to authenticate.
