Hi,

You can read more about this in our knowledge base article here, http://support.qbik.com/index.php?_a=kn ... ils&_i=101

Also, we would recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of Wingate.

Regards,

Matt

What kind of operating sytem is installed on your server?

On a Windows XP machine, to disable ICS, --> Control Panel --> Administrator Tools --> Services --> Disable: "Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)"

Also, with regards to version 5, you should upgrade to 6.0.4 to make sure you are not seeing issues that have already been fixed in the past. Your version 5 license will still work on 6.04, but only the features that were bought with your license will be enabled.

Hi,

This is a known issue, if you read the knowledge base article it tells you how to disable the firewall so that WinGate can learn that it is disabled. Even if you have disabled the firewall WinGate can still detect it so won't let you install.
