Has anyone got problems with ping or tracert working v6.04

Hi

I upgraded a old server with trial 6.00 994 and 2 client pcs to the new 6.04 1024 with same settings extended network on and NAT enabled
and firewall disabled, and the same hardware wireless lan using linksys and a asdl router on another lan card.

Before the upgrade 6.0 on all client pcs could ping and tracert

but now none can with v6.04 yet nothing has changed except the
proxy software.

everything else seems to work MSN 7, www, ftp, WRP sessions
and email

anyone else experienced this problem and resolved?

so far Ive tried to disable and reenable nat and Extended and shut and
restart services and reinstalled client on one pc and still not working.

Im working if I should uninstall all server and do fresh again.. but alot of extra work.

seems like a new problem there as was working though.

thanks. the lan card to asdl router was set to auto-internal

I changed it to external untrusted and all works again.

why was there no warning when installing or upgrading of this?

There was. The common issues post at the top of the forum highlights this. If you scan through the release notes, under the 6.0.2 section point 15 highlights:

15. Changed the default behavior of adapter detection, so that now an adapter with a private IP and a default gateway will now show as Internal.
