Server is not being detected on client computer

My server is not being detected on the client computer I am using a netgear hub to connect 2 windows xp machines the server pc has full internet access. Can anyone provide any assistance please. -- Upset

In addition the 2 computers can't see each other on the network and I have no idea why any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I assume that you're using the WGIC to connect to the WinGate server? But you can't see the server listed in the list of available servers, is this correct?

Is the GDP service running in WinGate? Are you running any firewalls on the client machines, for example XP SP2 personal firewall?

Can you manually add the WinGate server to the list and specify the server? Does this work?

Can you ping the server from the clients and vice versa?
