Authentication problems

Postby mcgaric » Jul 05 05 1:32 am

I have installed a 30 day eval ver at a client, it is set to require Java authentication for users to access the www proxy service

all works ok except that once a user has logged on in the java aplet Wingate does not register if he closes his Internet session or turns his machine off, it still says that the user is autenticated and the next time they try to access the www proxy it does not ask for the password.

wingate even keeps them logged on when their machines have been turned off

with the exception of requiring a java auth the install is a compleat default on

Hi,

Have you got a time-out specified in the Remote Control Service? If not, can you try setting the time-out to a couple of minutes and see if that helps?
