question about ftp proxy, please help !~

hi there,

I successfully installed wingate and started ftp proxy.

now I want to do the following :

1> 192.168.0.1-20 can download from Internet ftp sites.
2> 192.168.0.21-40 can download / upload from Internet ftp sites.
3> 192.168.0.41-254 can't use ftp proxy , of course can't download / upload any files.

Is there any solution to achieve this plan ?

can these machines connect to the WinGate machine at all?

It is odd that some machines could connect and not others.

What is the network mask set to on the TCP/IP properties of the internal NIC on your WinGate machine? It should be 255.255.255.0

no, adrien, this behaiour is not happening to daynight's network, he wants it to happen and does not know how...

sorry , I think I forget this :

wingate server ip: 192.168.0.1 netmask: 255.255.255.0
other clients ip : 192.168.0.2-254 netmask: 255.255.255.0

all client pc can connect wingate proxy server, and how can I do that use wingate (ftp proxy) rule settings ? Is that possible ??
