hi for all and thanx for all helper

i have a proplem to conect to internet
i have three pc

====pc1 "it is clinet to server" conect to internet using broadband conection"---it take internet from computer server using wirless conection."pc1=this computer to my frind"
he is conect to hub.

====pc2 "it is clinet to pc1""it is my one pc" conect to internet by conetcting to pc1 using wingate and i conect my pc2 to hub direct.
and i have tow network card in pc2
firest card conect to hub " that i take internet from pc1" during the hub and second card conect to pc3.

=====pc3 it cannot conect to internet."this is the tow my pc"
in this pc have one network card conect to pc2 direct in cross cabel.without hub

i try make pc3 clenet to pc2 but it dosent work
when i make it
pc3 cannot open any site
but i see in pc2 in wingate that pc3 open site.
and i cannot ping to pc1 from pc3
but i can ping pc2 from pc1

pc1 have ip 192.168.200.1 sub 255.255.255.0
pc2 have ip 192.168.200.2 sub 255.255.255.0
pc3 have ip 192.168.200.3 sub 255.255.255.0
pc3 cannot get internet from pc1 or pc2

so how can i confeguration pc3 to can acces to internet wthout using hub between pc2 and pc1.

and how i configure my network to can acces to internet.

i using windows xp prof
and last version win gate.
and i have wingate v 5
and i have wingate v 6.0.4

Try changing PC2's second NIC to 192.168.201.1, and change PC3 to 192.168.201.2

i do it and it a same problem
i cant open site in pc3
althought i see in pc2 in wingate the pc3 open page
but pc3 open white page without any thing
our saying cannot open page.
i dont knew may be when i can ping pc1 to pc3 maybe i can acces to internet by but addres pc3 in proxy confeguration in explorer configuration;
but i cant pin pc3 to pc1
but pc1 can ping to pc3
i dont knew what the problem
if any one can help me to how can i ping pc3 to pc1 using some thing
like getway or program to install
and how i configure it.

It should work ok, have you set the default gateway on machine 2 to point at machine 1?

Why can't you just plug machine 3 into the hub with machine 2? Then WinGate will see both machines directly.

I found the description of your problem challenging to interpret, So if my interpretation is incorrect; my apologies.

So what software is set up on PC1 to allow it to share the internet with PC2?

To change the netwrok setting in Windows XP, browse to (Windows) Start menu --> Settings --> Network Connections --> Select your network card --> Properties --> TCP/IP

Since PC1s IP Address is 192.168.200.1

PC2s TCP/IP would be setup as
IP Address 192.168.200.2
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.200.1 (presuming PC1 has software to share the internet connection)
DNS 192.168.200.1 (Presuming PC1 has software to serve DNS request

PC2s second network card would be configured as
IP Address 192.168.201.2
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway
DNS

And in GateKeeper the network card pointing to PC1 will need to be configure as "External" and the network card pointing to PC3 needs to be marked as "Internal" (GateKeeper --> View menu --> Network); please see image at bottom of this post.

PC3s TCP/IP settings should be as followed.
IP Address 192.168.201.3
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.201.2
DNS 192.168.201.2


Once this is setup, on PC3, try and navigate to http://www.google.com. If that does not work, try to navigate to googels ip address http://66.102.7.104




Please advise how you get on.
