HTTP Server with Socks Proxy behind a Hardwarerouter

Oct 01 05 6:38 am

hi,
in my LAN i have a Hardware Router (with NAT). Now i want to set up a HTTP File Server on my wingate server machine via a socks proxy. How can i set up this? If it is not possible to use a socks proxy, how can i configure the www proxy to work with the hardware router in my LAN together?

In the settings of my hardware router i have to redirect the tcp port of the tcp mapping i have to made, right?

thank you, TFTS

PS: next step is to set up an FTP Server on my wingate server ... but i think, it's more difficult to set up, right?

i read a little bit about SOCKS Proxy. It seem to be a problem, to run a server (web or ftp) behind a SOCKS Proxy Server. Is that right? Is there any possibilty to install a FTP/Web Server behind a SOCKS Proxy?

I need this, because i want to use 2 internet connections and i want to specify the connection which is taken by my Web/FTP Server and can only set the gateway in the socks server ... So i need to run my Web or FTP Server behind the proxy server.

thank you, TFTS
