Windows 2003 server and Wingate 6.0.4

Postby ITSN » Apr 21 06 1:08 am

We've got an issue with a Windows 2003 SBS server running Wingate 6.0.4. This server does not reboot correctly.

When the reboot script is started, the machine starts shutting down, but hangs on a grey screen.

We've let Microsoft do an analysis of the memorydump and they indicate that Qbikhkxp.sys COULD be a problem.

Are there more users of Wingate with this problem?

First thing to try is updating to the lastest version of WinGate.

Are there any issues regarding the upgrade? Or is this just a matter of running the .exe file?

It is simply a matter of running the new installer and then re-activating the license.

However, if this does not help, I would like to ask you to send us the latest memory dump file to us - then we will be able to identify the problem you may be running into and provide you a fixed version of the driver.
