Wingate & Exchange server 2003

Postby ajvalencia » Sep 19 06 4:11 am

Good morning. I have two servers installed in first I have the Web server in which also I have Wingate. In the other server Exchange 2003. As I must form the Wingate to publish the OWA and that the users can enter by means of Internet. I thank for some documentation on Wingate & Exchange 2003. Warm Greeting.

Hi

For external access to OWA via WinGate, all you should need to do is a redirect in Extended networking.

I suppose you will run the OWA server on some port, say 8888. In this case, you could

1. go online to WinGate in GateKeeper
2. select Extended Networking, properties
3. select Port security tab
4. Under "Incoming connections from the Internet" and "TCP" choose Add
5. This creates a port entry. Enter the port number you want external users to connect to OWA on (for both start and end port). Select "redirect" and enter the IP address of the internal OWA server.
6. Click OK and save settings.

Your users should now be able to connect to your OWA server from the Internet.
