Long links (beginning with "cgi.ebay.de...") -->

Postby Hannes14 » Dec 09 06 10:06 am

Hi!

My specific problem is the following:
If I have a list of ebay-auctions, I want to visit the site of one interesting auction and click on the link (open in new window or not). What happens? Nothing!
If I open a new IE-Window and copy/paste the URL manually in the new window it works with no problem.

For example a link like the following:
http://cgi.ebay.de/New-Breitling-EMERGE ... dZViewItem

When Wingate Engine Monitor is opend, usually when a link is called up, I see which client calls up the link in the "Activity"-Window of the Wingate Engine Monitor. I also see this activities when copying/pasting the URL manually in the new window. But when directly klicking on the link there is no activity I can see in den Wingate Engine Monitor.

I use WinGate version 5.0.7. on Windows 2000. Client is running Windows XP.

Can anybody help me? Thx!

Its funny: When I klick now on the link here in my posting there is no problem. But the same link called up on the ebay-homepage --> no chance.

Who can understand this?

G'day,

Try upgrading to Wingate 6.2.0, I reckon it will fix this one!
