WinGate 3.0.5 :: Socket Error Issues

I am using WinGate 3.0.5, purchased sometime ago I guess.

We have about 10-15 named users. Through the proxy server, we get a lot of socket errors. Without the proxy, direct connection to the internet, we are able to access the websites.

I am very tired of finding the root cause of the problems. Pl suggest some solutions.

Effort done:
1. DNS server (ISP) is pinging correctly
2. ISP has checked & reported the link is fine

Try upgrading with V6.2 and most of those will be history!

Your key should work still.

I understand that I need to upgrade.

Is there a temporary fix or something like that? This problem is killing us a lot.

Thanks, guys. I have upgraded it to WinGate 6.1.4. The Socket Error issues have been resolved.

I still wonder as to why these Socket errors come.
