Wingate Settings Greyed Out

Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me.

We've been using wingate as a proxy server for months now, but today noone can connect. When we look at gatekeeper, everything is greyed out. There are no users or any options in the left hand pane, or any details in the right hand pane - both are just completely grey. Similarly, pretty much everything on the menus is also greyed out.

We're using Wingate 6.12 on a Windows 2003 server machine. I don't know if it's coincidental, but at the same time as the wingate server failed, the system log for wingate shows the error:

"12/22/06 10:00:37 AntiVirus This plugin is not supported on WinGate 6.1.2 (Build 1094). Please contact Qbik New Zealand at http://www.wingate.com/ to obtain an updated version of this plugin."

We haven't tried to make any configuration changes or anything recently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

G'day Andy,

Try upgrading to V6.2.

It could be corrupted history, try the idea in this post.

As for the KAV message, it is a carry over from another plugin version.

Probably search the KAV forum for the answer to a registry hack to fix that one from memory.

Hey, thanks for your reply, and sorry for my delayed response - too much christmas cheer...

I've managed to sort it now thanks - I managed to uninstall the plugin and all was sorted.
