I'm trying to configure our FTP server behind Wingate. Here's the setup:
Our Wingate machine has two network cards. One handles our internal network. The other has 2 external IP addresses assigned to it; one (#1) is for our internet access to our ISP via Wingate; the other #2 is for access to our FTP site. The Wingate machine also serves as our FTP server. Wingate sees both network cards fine, and correctly identifies them as internal and external. We're using ENS.
We want to allow access to our FTP site both via FTP client software and via browsers (ftp://username:password@ftp.ourcompany.com)
I'm having trouble figuring out how to configure FTP proxy server and WWW proxy server in Wingate. Do I turn on transparent proxy for each? Do I bind to internal adapters only, or to any adapter? For the FTP proxy under the Server Requests tab, do I pipe thru non-proxy requests? If so, do I specify the external IP address of the FTP site?
Any help appreciated.
