multiple SSL forwards

Postby defiantclass1 » Apr 04 07 3:55 am

I have 2 servers that require port 443 to be forwarded to them, Exchange and Web servers. If port 443 is currently forwarded to my Exchange, what do I do for the web server that requires it as well?

Thanks

Hi

those 2 servers are effectively sharing the same IP address.

So you can't have 2 services running on the same IP and same port.

You'd need to change one of the ports.

unless these are both HTTP over SSL? In that case you could actually use WinGate's reverse proxy support to deal with this - get WinGate WWW proxy to use SSL for external on port 443, then WinGate will deal with the encryption, and get the WWW proxy to use the host tag to differentiate between the internal Exchange server vs the web server.
