Yes this can work, in this post here and here is some material on making that configuration and securing the risk.

I had an image made for this so I though I would add it in.

Presumptions:
1. You want to sit at home and control your office computers desktop.
2. WinGate Server is located at your office.
3. Your computer at work has the ip address 192.168.1.10
4. Computer at work either has the NAT or WGIC connection method available.
5. Guest account is enabled in WinGate.
6. Network card pointing towards the Internet is marked as EXTERNAL in WinGate. To check navigate to:
GateKeeper --> View menu --> Networks --> Network Connections.

This is the process I use to accomplish what you are hoping to do.
On client XP computer I wish to rdp to, I ensure that Remote Desktop is enabled, using default port 3389 and that appropriate users are selected to use rdp
On WG server I set up port forwarding as jamesc has indicated with one exception, I do not use default port 3389. I typically use a port in the range between 3390 and 3399 (however it really can be just about any port). In the Ports boxes enter, for example, 3391 to 3391 then you need to check the Override port box and then enter 3389
As for your client computer you need to assign a fixed IP either by using static IP on the machine or DHCP reservation. Whatever that IP is, enter in Redirect Packet to IP address*
I also check the Notify on access box as it will then log remote connections
Then to connect to this client machine from home, in Remote Desktop Connection you would enter the Public IP or domain name of WG machine followed by :3391(in this example) e.g. WGofficeserver.com:3391

I have a small customer that uses this feature to connect all eight of their machines this way - they just use a different port for each computer and WG dutifully connects to the right one.

*QBik staff -Is it possible on new version of WG to enter a machine name rather than IP address? I think it would be a nice feature as it would save having to fix the IP for that machine.

I passed your question onto Genie and he said it may be possible; some upcoming changes in the driver may need use of NetBIOS names and hence it could be possible to also add in what you are suggesting.

And joyjeettwo - if you are still having problems then please

1. Let the forum know the work computers ip address, subnet mask, dns server and default gateway.
2. Let the forum know the WinGate Servers ip address, subnet mask, dns server and default gateway - for each network card.
3. On the WinGate server which network cards are marked as Internal or External?
4. Can you please confirm that you have disabled any security suites for the sake of testing if you deem it safe - on the WinGate Server or Work Computer - the Windows Firewall is best disabled in the Windows Services.
5. Please clearly explain what you mean by this:
and when i am opened remote my server get locked
