Migrate settings and configure user

Hello. I have several questions to ask and I hope you can help me:
I have wingate latest version with plugins Kaspersky and proxy inspector for 12 users.

1.Iam going to install on another machine. Is there a way to migrate the settings?

2.How do I configure someone to acess a expecific site and only that site or the domain of that site?

Yes there is. You can export the WinGate registry file from your current server, which can then be imported on your new WinGate server. Here is a KB article on backing up/importing WinGate settings.

You can use the WWW Proxy Policies to define http access permissions. It's difficult to give you an exact procedure on how to set up policies when we don't know what your current configuration. Here's how I would go about doing it though.

Using the WWW Proxy Policies, you could make two policies to obtain your desired result. One policy that grants your specified user access to the one domain name only, and another policy that grants everybody else but the specified user unrestricted access to the internet.

If you find it's too difficult to set this up by yourself, you can send your WinGate registry file into the helpdesk and I can help you with your policies there.

Export your WinGate registry file:
GateKeeper --> Options menu --> Advanced --> Save Registry

I have another important question: does wingate worgs with windows server 2003 R2 Standard Edition 64Bits?

The current version of WinGate doesn't have a 64 bit Extended Networking driver, which means you won't be able to use any of the features that the ENS driver usually provides (NAT, Routing and the Firewall). If you only want to use the proxies in WinGate and don't plan on using the ENS features anyway, you may find this satisfactory.

The next release of WinGate (7.0) will include a 64 bit ENS driver for Windows XP/2003.

If you are into virtualisation at all, we have had customers report successfully running WinGate in a 32bit Virtual Machine under a 64bit operating system.

we're also targetting Vista with this next release, but only the 32 bit version initially.
