Zero KB file with Save Target As

Postby pduch » Oct 30 08 2:43 am

We are attempting to download an image file from a site and when the file is saved, the file is 0 kb. Has anyone seen this before?

Direct connections to the internet can download the file but when we are going through Wingate, the file size is 0 kb.
Since the image file is on the screen already, does wingate think the file is already downloaded and won't let the client download it again?

Thanks

Hi,

What could be happening is if your connection via Wingate uses caching.

Do you connect by Proxy and not NAT [direct connection]?

You could try and disable cache additions and cache lookups then save the file again.

We are connecting by proxy. Caching is already disabled. Any other suggestions?

Hi, are you using any scanning plugins?

If so try disabling them for the specific site.

Try another browser and can you provide a direct link to the troublesome file for others' to try?
