Load balancing while in nat mode

Postby hacktek » Feb 28 09 5:28 am

Is there a way i can do load balancing for users connecting to Wingate for nat (default gateway for clients being wingate's ip)? I don't want to set up a proxy server just for this.

Thanks

Well i was able to create the tcp mapping for port 80 but it does not work, i'm guessing it's not supposed to work while the client is using wingate as a nat server but rather as a proxy, which is exactly what i don't want.

Any ideas?

Gateway Rotation can only be done on the service level, which means you will have to intercept NAT connections in to the proxies and do gateway rotation from there.

WinGate 7.x will be able to rotate NAT connections.
