Hello all,

Why does this feature fail to connect when Wingate is a direct connection to the Internet?

IE setting, if relevant is direct connection.

Makes it hard to manage licences

the content of that is supposed to be a local file. I think the details are written to the temp folder. So looks like either no rights to write to the temp file, or some problem reading the file.

What OS is this on? Vista?

p.s. is that from within GateKeeper, or the separate license manager app?

When I checked this on my system, License Management was grayed out in GateKeeper.

Looked OK in the License Manager app.

Thanks for the tips and almost stumbled upon it with a look inside the temp directory but hadn't opened the memo.html until just now to see where it was created!

O/s for the buggy one is WHS 2003 and the system variable once set to be the user variable temp directory fixed the outage of write access. :)

Both app's produced the error.

Have also seen the Licence Manager menu item greyed out in GK too, but not on current build, from memory.
