Transparent proxy not working

Postby JPLG » Jan 10 04 11:55 am

I try to use Wingate to forward the Internet traffic from a second PC (Linux) DHCP is OK, DNS is OK, Proxies not installed but ping doesn't pass Wingate.
I don't see any parameter for NAT, as I understand it should work by default ?

Thanks for help

OK, OK ... I reinstalled and found EMS Option ! OK NOW !!!

NAT will work if the default gateway for that client machine is set to the WinGate Server. You must also ensure (Depending on which IP address ranges you use) that your internal IP is marked as Private | Trusted and your external IP is marked as Public | Untrusted. (You can find those settings in GateKeeper -> Advanced Options)
