Remote Desktop trough wingate

Postby johndlcg » Feb 19 10 5:38 am

Hello everyone.

i'm just wondering how can i connect to a server in my company using wingate.
i have add a TCP Mapping Service and add the address and port of the server i want to connect to.
also add the address and port in the router to forward to the computer holding the wingate server.

still cannot connect to to the server, i have tried to connect directly from the wingate server and i can..

what should i do to accomplish this?

please step by step if possible.

Thanks in advanced for your help.

Took me about a week to figure this one out but now I have 2 mappings allowing me to access 2 different servers.
Windows terminal services uses port 3389
If you search the MS site, there are docs on changing this port setting on the server.

As for me, I have one setup to use 3390
I created a new TCP session and in General renamed it for the server it was going to access.
Then in General I set the Service port to 3390 and
Default Mapping I enabled and set the Server setting to the IP address of the server I wanted to connect to and also set the 3390 port.

Saved and restarted all the process's.
Works like a champ
