Blocking Chat

Hi,

I am new user of Wingate. I wanted to block Chat program for some of the User.

I have created Filter through Extended Networking for Yahoo and it works fine. But When I create more than one filter for Google or other Chat program, everything becomes open. I mean Yahoo also starts working.

Please advise how to make it to work with more than one filter.

It sounds like you are overriding the first policy with the second i.e. the second policy is allowing users access to yahoo chat. WinGate uses the least restrictive policy.

It sounds like you are creating 2 blacklists I would recommend combining the 2.
