Not sure what to title this question..

Postby Talicada » Dec 30 13 10:28 pm

At the moment, my proxy can download at 100mbps from the internet, but my laptops wifi limit is 65mbps. When I am loading a file i.e. a flv file, the file downloads through my proxy at 65mbps, not the 100mbps I receive from my isp. Is there a way to make it so that it downloads the entire file to the proxy, and streams the rest of the file to the client afterwards?

Sorry if I am asking the wrong question. This one is puzzling me..

Hi

Normally, WinGate forwards received data onwards as it receives it, so the overall speed is limited by the slower of the 2 connections.

So there's nothing you can do about this sorry.
