policy for upstream proxy (cascading proxy)

Postby behnam » May 15 14 6:56 am

Hi every one
After I configured www proxy service, and setup upstream proxy(cascade proxy in former versions) in connection tab, I noticed that, it didn't work and all internet traffic are going directly through clients without passing from cascaded proxy server. I understand that I should define some policy for this (that make it work). How can i setup policy for this(upstream proxy)?

regards

Hi

if the clients are connecting to the proxy, then they should be using the upstream proxy as specified in the WWW proxy. You shouldn't need any flow-chart policy unless you need to override the default service setting on a per-request basis.

Are the clients even connecting to the proxy first?
