Wingate Purchase

Dear Wigate Support,

Reference is made to the following thread:

In this thread I asked if the purchase is a one time purchase; i.e., that the purchase is not an annual licence. I asked the question in view of the fact that I saw the term "RENEW", which was explained to be annual maintenance entitling me to upgrades.

I need an explicit answer to the question, is the purchase of Wingate an outright purchase of the product? Meaning it will work forever without additional annual payments.

Hi,

Did that page answer your questions? As it says "Once you are entitled to use a version of the software, you may use that version forever, the version protection policy only covers version updates."

So once you have purchased a license you can use that version of WinGate forever. If you want to update to the latest version you will need to have current version protection. Version protection is valid for one year and can be renewed before expiry for 25% of the list price of the license, or 40% after expiry.
