Wingate HTTP on Different Subnets

Postby getrdone » Dec 18 15 7:14 am

Our office has added our first remote office and I'm having a tough time routing internal proxy traffic to my WinGate server from our new remote office to our main office network.

Main office Network 192.168.0.0
New Remote Office 192.168.2.0

What I have found is that since the WinGate internal adapter does not have a gateway IP on the internal adapter 192.168.0 subnet I cannot ping it from anything with a 192.168.2 subnet (remote office).

The route should go through like this
192.168.2.xxx client pc
192.168.2.1 gateway remote office
192.168.0.1 gateway main office
192.168.0.45 WinProxy internal adapter (no gateway on internal adapter)

If I'm setting on
192.168.2.1 router gateway I can not ping 192.168.0.45
192.168.0.1 router gateway I can ping 192.168.0.45 successful!! (main office subnet)

Is this a router issue? What is the best way to port HTTP traffic from 192.168.2.xx (remote office) subnet to the main office at 192.168.0.xx?

Thanks in Advance
