Hi there
Probably the quickest and simplest is the NAT (Network Address Translation) connection method.
Simply enter the WinGate servers (laptop) internal IP address in the Gateway and DNS section of the network properties of the network card on the client machine.
This way all of the PC's Internet requests will be forwarded to WinGate(laptop) for resolution.
In your case since the WinGate server laptop has a wireless connection to the Internet, it should have an External IP address given to the connection by the ISP.
WinGate will use this connection automatically to satisfy the client PC's Internet requests. This External IP (interface) will be detected and used by WinGate (when the WinGate engine first starts up) and can be seen on the Interface tab of any service.
Alternatively, if you are using a dial up type connection (such as a modem or USB DSL) that has an external IP given to it everytime it connects, then the associated dial up profile will be listed in the dialer config in GateKeeper. You will need to enable the dialer profile to be used by WinGate by enabling it in the dialer config in GateKeeper.
That should help for basic connectivity.
