FTP transfers on Windows 2000 Wingate server

Postby R2 » May 09 04 11:33 am

I have had troubles with FTP transfers when Wingate server is installed on a Win2k computer, only 60 or 70% of total bytes are transfered for each file. I have format my HD and reinstalled Windows several times, during the last few months and I noticed that this behaviour happens if I have Win2k in /wingate server computer, but not if I have Win98....

For stability issues I must now run Win2k in wingate server machine now. How can I get FTP proxy server to transfer a file correctly (all bytes)? Anyone has had this issue?

Hi,

We've seen a problem where the FTP download through the WWW proxy, ie when using IE, stops at 75% of the file. The work-around that we had was to install the Kaspersky AV plug-in, however we have fixed this problem in the beta release. You can download the beta from our website, http://www.wingate.com/download.php
