About Bandwidth Control

I'm currently usd Bandwidth Controller to control my bandwidth as wingate doesn't offer this function. But hereby if I want to restrict the bandwidth of some users who play online games and download some softwarez. Which option should I choose? I mean bandwidth controller offered (ip,tcp,udp,other,any) in its filters, But I dono which one takes online games, which one takes http downloads? Can anybody help?
