Enabling External Access to Email

Postby 1ahanco » May 26 04 11:59 am

Hi,
I have the following situtaion:
-Static External Ip
-Wingate server running with 2 nics
-192.168.0.103 Internal
-192.168.1.1 External which is directly connected to a router on 192.168.1.254

I want to allow access to port 2000 on the wingate sever machine which also runs our mail server (port 2000 is a http server which runs a mail client).

ENS is enabled.

I have done the following:
-Set port security in ENS to redirect external connections on port 2000 to 192.168.0.103

Opened port 2000 on our router.

I have also played with a tcp/ip mapping service but had no luck and stopped that service.

What havn't I done or how can I test to see if the wingate side is working? All I am getting when testing (using our static ip:2000) is page can not be displayed.
