If possible, how do I provide my users Internet access to our Exchange Server 2003 via Outlook Web Access (OWA)? Internally, OWA works fine for all users. On my Wingate server (INETSERVER.KC135ATS.NET) at 192.168.0.1, when I create a TCP map on external port 81 (http://www.kc135ats.net:81/Exchange) that points to our Exchange Server (EXCHSERVER.KC135ATS.NET) at 192.168.0.2, port 80, once the user authenticates, they get a "This page cannot be found" error. The page address is "http://www.kc135ats.net/Exchange". I do run internal DNS server & suspect DNS is probably the fix but I haven't been able to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. Hi Bill,

I have OWA running behind WinGate on Port 80. Just tested on port 81 and it worked OK.

The problem may lie in the authentication level you have set for IIS.

Mine is set for Basic Authentication - anything tighter has issues with Proxy and doesn't work.

What service are you using for OWA? TCP Mapping? If so, how do you have it configured? I've got Basic Authentication selected, too, but it still doesn't work. Are you using internal DNS? Thanks.

TCP Mappping.

General -

Start automatically
Port 80 (81 for you)

IP and Port of Exchange server for default mapping.

Bindings -

Accept connections on the external IP

Interfaces -

Connection out only on the internal IP

Sessions -

Time out after 60 seconds

Mappings -

None

Encryption -

None

Connection -

Direct

Policies -

Everyone - unrestricted - default ignored.

No internal DNS used.

Hmmm...looks like a basic TCP Mapping with nothing special. My setup is the same (except for port 81) but still fails to work correctly when connecting from the Internet. I'll keep experimenting. Thanks for the input.
