5.2.3 ens not work

Jun 17 04 9:44 pm

Dear all
I installed wingate 5.2.3 on my windows 2000 pro, and I disabled the firewall in ens. And I've also disable the Symantec Client Firewall in my system.
And now client can use proxy to surf the web, but can not use ens mode (just use gateway). When client ping IP on internet, the gatekeeper simply no any activity. Why? and I've seccessfully installed same version on another computer.

Now I only use 1 nic on wingate server, is it the problem?

Hi,

To ping [from a client machine] will require NAT to be active for ICMP traffic.

Sounds like you might be saying if NAT is installed the networking / IP doesn't?

This could be a conflict with your drivers and the NAT driver QBIKHK.* perhaps.

Report back what connection you have and the hardware [nic type] and someone will take it further.

Nev.
