I made that wingate open windows VPN client connection and use another (cascade) proxy for Internet access (this is oneway satellite internet system - uplink is through gateway/router/wireless and downlink is satellite), it seems that is working nice, now every computer from LAN has simple option to use Fast Satelite Internet surfing, and WinGate open and close VPN on demand.

Q: Is it possible to setup OS (win2000) or to activate some option in wingate, which will result that only wingate use internet over VPN, and all other application to use normal internet connection (nic/gateway/router/wireless) ... now when wingate open VPN all Internet traffic goes to VPN and I don't want that...

Hi,

Your clients will only go through the VPN to access the internet if you specify the remote gateway as their internet proxy. Otherwise all connections should go out through your normal internet connection.

How have you set up your clients so that they use the VPN?
