Outlook and Wingate

I am trying to run Outlook 2003 on a Wingate 6 client. I just get errors in Outlook saying it failed to connect to POP or SMTP. What should I be doing. It works fine on the server.

Watch the Firewall tab in GateKeeper when you try to connect and see if anything is being blocked.

No nothing appears on the firewall tab.

Hi,

Are you using the WGIC(WinGate Internet Client)? Have you checked that outlook.exe is set as a mixed application in the WGIC application list?

Where are your mail server? Are they local or remote?

Thats the trick. Outlook was not in the list. Works fine now, Thanks heaps.
