Hi, wingate have not problem with sql 2k, I think that your problem is with your sql installation. I'm accesing sql data (local net with Win 2k server) from external client (win xp home edition) thru internet using wingate vpn 5.2.2 but I use 'sql server client network utility' in external client to create an alias:
server alias: my server name
network library: tcp/ip
server name: the ip address (192.168.0.1) of my wingate server pc
dynamically determine port: active (1433)

In the file Client Network Utility Help see the topic 'How to configure a client to use TCP/IP (Client Network Utility)'

I'm sorry for my bad english

Hi
Thanks for the reply
But the problem is my system ip is 192.168.0.2
when i connect sql2k to 192.168.0.1 it works
But when i try to connect to server say ex:168.0.01(Server Outside Myplace)
It does not connect Remember same thing connects from 192.168.0.1(Wingate Server) and not in my system 192.168.0.2(client)
