Win2k Server and Wingate

What kind of w2kserver 's local policies (domain policies?) may conflict with wingate? There is a error in event logs - Wingate service cannot be started. And when i try to go online it says that i need to check my server name and port number. 808 are both opened (outbound, inbound). User login is administrator, pwd left blank.

Does the WinGate engine monitor system tray icon show WinGate as started?

Normally if WinGate did not start, I would expect GateKeeper to complain that the "WinGate engine is not running" and ask you if you want to start it.

What account do you have WinGate running in - the localsystem account?
