WinGate 5.2.2 NAT

Postby jp.stasse » Feb 20 04 7:36 am

I have version 5.2.2 (Build 892) of Wingate.

Situations:
We have a Web server (IP 192.168.0.10) in our local area network which we make visible of the Internet. I redirected port 80 towards address IP of the Web server in ENS panel.

Problem:
Certain numbers visitors cannot see our Web site on their browser whereas others can see the entirety of the Web site. In both cases the Activity panel shows NAT:TCP Connection to 192.168.0.10:80 clearly.

Where is the problem?

THANKS !

Are these all external (internet) clients conencting through WinGate into your network? If so, is there any pattern to the ones that can't see anything compared to the ones that do (eg types of browser etc)? When these clients fail to see the site, what does get displayed in their browser? A 404 error?

Regards

Hi,

1. All the customers connects to our network to through Wingate.

2. I do not know the type of browser used by the customers.

3. There is no error message on the browser of the customers (no 404 error)

4. The browser posts in its bar of message: 'Open http://www.my-Web-site.be...' , without never posting the page.

5. There is no more problem when I use TCP Mapping Service to redirect the requests of port 80 towards our Web server instead of NAT (Port Sécurity)
