Your easiest option here would be to have WinGate re-create the Remote Control Session. This will involve editing the registry, so be sure you have an appropriate backup / system restore point before making any modifications.

1. Stop the WinGate Engine
2. Open "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Qbik Software \ WinGate \ Services".
3. Select "Remote Control Service"
4. From the menu, select "Registry", then "Export Registry File".
5. Save the selected branch to a file.

Now that's a backup of your current remote control service.

6. Delete the "Remote Control Service" registry key.
7. Restart the WinGate Engine.

If you still cannot log in, that is probably a problem with a system policy. Let's first see if this helps you though.
