WGIC and Connection Rotation

Hi,
I have 3 cable connection on the WinGate server and set it up to Rotate the connection on the three cable modem. It works for the proxy connection from the client. How can I rotate the connection when the client is accessing the WG server by using WGIC? I can't find the setting for that.

The easiest solution to this would be to turn on TR's is each of the proxies that you use (under the Sesssions Tab), which will push all WGIC traffic through its relevant proxy, ie port 80 sessions through the WWW proxy.

I installed WinGate on a W2k3 + IIS 6.0, in order to enable winGate to use port 80 then I have to deactivate IIS from listening on port 80. But if I do that then I can't start my web server. My question: can I still use TR if I set the port other than 80 (say 81 or 8080).
The help file reads: "Make sure the proxy is on a standard port, or this feature won’t work."

Yes, it should be fine. Make sure that you disable the Transparent Redirection entry. Apply the change. Change the port number. Apply the change. Switch the Transparent Redirection on again. It should create the appropriate entries for you.

AMMENDMENT: Neil just told me, while the Server might be operating properly then, the client machines will still be using port 80. So that won't work as nicely as I was hoping it would.

Perhaps the easiest option would be to ensure that the bindings are setup properly? Check in the properties of the Server on IIS, ensure that it is only binding to your public IP. Make sure that WinGate will bind only to your private IP. Then both should co-habit peacefully.
