Linux, telnet connection

Hello, I have a linux machine running on my network and the problem is that when, from the linux machene, I try to telnet to somewhere, It'll work just fine, but only for the first time..if I desconnect and try to telnet again to the same address as before..it gives me a "host not found' message....on Gatekeeper it shows that the linux machene is trying to look for the address ( DNS: A lookup "cola.iges.org." )

Is this problem on the client or is it with WinGate??
