Migration + Upgrade

Currently running both wingate 4.5.0 and ftgate on an ageing 233mhz, 64mb beige box, want to migrate to 3ghz 512mb new shiny box + upgrade to lastest release, whats the best procedure please?

Are you going to be running the same operating system on the new machine? If yes then you can export the registry file and import it into the new installation which would allow you to keep all of your settings. If you're going from 2k to XP pro then it should still work.

Your valid version 4.x license will allow you to upgrade to the latest version although if you want access to our built-in email server you'll need to purchase an upgrade license.

Thanks Matt, it will be the same os, just a machine with a bit more grunt, dont need the mail server, currently use FTGate Office.
