WWW service wont'start

o/s = windows 2003 server.
services running = SQL server

Prior to installing wingate 5.2.3, ICS was used to share internet connection and is working fine. Then ICS was turned off in order to install wingate. The installation seems to be working just fine ( DHCP and DNS function was not enabled since other server is providing this ). When running Wingate, www service did not start. Tried changing to different port and manual start but the service still failed. I've checked that IIS is not running on this server. Is there a known conflict between Wingate and SQL server?
