PPTP disconnects every 4 minutes

For all my users when they connect to a PPTP (Microsoft's VPN) server using Dial-up networking the VPN connection drops every 4 minutes (4 minutes is consistent and it does or all the users) However if the users are conecting out side of the Wingate (i.e. directly to the internet ) there is no problem. Any suggestions ? I am running the latest version of WinGate (I just checked for the version update and it returned I am on the latest version)

Do you have a port entry for this in Extended Networking - Port Security?

If so - under Options for this port does it have a Time Out value set?

yes, I do but that is for incoming VPN connection (I have set that option to Never Time out ) , this problem is for outgoing connection

I have the same problem with "telnet" and "ssh" any suggestion?

You could try creating a port for these so you can change the time-out from the default.
