Emails stuck in holding folder(another situation)

Postby lecon » May 13 04 5:52 pm

Recently, our Emails stuck in holding folder.Wingate reports following message:
05/11/04 16:54:31 127.0.0.2 0000000237 Debug: Delivery for domain hotmail.com - MX lookup succeeded
05/11/04 16:54:31 127.0.0.2 0000000236 Debug: Caught socket exception in WGSMTPSendSession::Connect() You do not have any access to any active dialers. Contact your system administrator
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I notice this problem caused by dialer,so I checked dialer configuration. My dialer name is ADSL,and can be used by wigate, and EMAIL configuration is delivery directly, attempt immediate delivery, allow delivery to trigger dialer.

I found a temporary way to avoid this problem that is to uncheck "Enable this connection to be used by Wingate".

Hi

WinGate dialer profiles have individual access policies. That error is one you get when a session tries to access a dialer profile and none grant the session access.

Edit the dialer profile in WinGate, select the access tab, and make sure there is a policy in there allowing access.
